Would you consider opening the source to this, and some of your other games? These look great and I'd love to see them get ported to other things or improved upon.

Very good game with a solid mood :) Being a big fan of Final Station, I definitely enjoyed your game. Your combat system and use of light in it is much better than FS. Too bad that this light element isn’t used more (the cave part isn’t as interesting as the abandoned house).
Good job :)
Thanks for checking out the game! Maybe one day I can work on this a little further. For now, the gamejam edition is all there is and, as usual, time ran out before more could be made.
i totally agree huge fan of final station especially since i was reading W.W.Z when i first played it. the simplistic art and story that provided enough to creep you out and keep you going made it into my top ten games ever.
Nice game! I think I found some bad bugs. First off, on Windows 10 (on my machine at least) I had to change the scaling of the game so that everything can fit on my screen.
Secondly, as Beard or Die posted, 70 days ago, there is this weird glitch where the edges of the terrain would flicker in and out.
thanks for trying the game. I really appreciate it and even more for taking the time to write a comment. I still could not replicate this bug. Hence, so far I've been powerless to squash it properly. But I'll keep trying.
Hello, I think this information may be of some help. So as I stated above, the resolution of the game is way too big for my laptop monitor and I had to enable High DPI Scaling Override under Windows 10 Home edition. Furthermore, what's interesting is that when I switch my graphics card from my default Intel Graphics 620 to my dedicated AMD Radeon R7 M445, the flickering went away! I suspect that this may have to do with a compatibility issue with the Intel integrated graphics.
Also, I was not expecting the plot twist at the end :)
I hope you'll work on a sequel or something.
nice game.
However the first spike pit in the cave seems impossible.
I did the obvious, pushing the block down.but the spikes next to the pit are impossible to jump over .
so I can stand savely on my box but not move right at all.
also game doesn't seem to save any progress so I am out
I'm sorry to read that you had a bad experience with this. The spike jump is possible but perhaps too hard.
I working on a revised version where this and other problems in the game are being revised. So I hope you come back to check out the revised version soon.
I any case, I appreciate you taking the time to check out the game and post a comment. It really helps. Thanks!
yeah, maybe the borders of the hit boxes aren't too clear for me there.
so I don't know when I can jump or when I would collide with the spikes
WTF, my potato PC seems to be not supporting OpenGL 3.3. F*k it. Your game looks so cool and so great, but my PC is so shitty, sorry.
I'm the one who's sorry for you not having a good experience with this game. But thanks for at least trying to run it.
Wow what a awesome game with a hell of a ending! Well done!
this like the sequels of resurgent
Resurgent is much better... Go play that instead!
Hey how do i install this game in debian ? Basicaly how i run the file? Thanks
I actually never tried debian... I have no idea but I'll ask around.
did you try to run the executable with the appropriate permissions?
i just figured what it was wrong.
i had to :
Hello! May I say that this was a great game. Fun, smart, a good story, and just overall well made, this game was a blast to play! I really loved this game and do wish to see more in the future!
Oh nice! Thanks for playing my game and producing a great video about! Much appreciated! Also... When dying, at the hands of a zombie vampire, one tends to become a zombie vampire as well. My bad for not making it clear... ;)
Haha, no worries it was still very well done!
Good work in the jam, and damn the ending leaves you with speculation. :)
I really liked running around in this post apocalyptic world! Nice job as always!!
Thanks a lot for taking the time to trying AND making a video about it! Really appreciated!!!
Nice! I feel like the camera's drag margin could've been closer to the player. Do you have any source code?
Thanks for playing the game as well as the suggestion. I provided the source to the jam admins and will post it publicly soon, with an MIT license. I just need to squash some nasty bugs and will then post it here.
Alright.
Lovely game! Both art and music is on point.
Glad you liked the game! Thanks for checking it out.
I'm enjoying it. Good vibe. I'm dying a lot in a glitchy cave right now (the art is glitching from flat to textured). Everything visually and functionally was perfect before that.
Hey! Thanks for trying out the game and I appreciate the comment. Do you happen to have a screenshot of that? I've experienced some bugs but never anything like that.
It flickers the rough ground as I move
ouch... Didn't see that one. Thanks again for providing this info. I'll try to replicate and fix. What OS are you using?
Windows 10 Pro
